Aarhus is the second largest city in Denmark. However, despite being the second largest city, it is quite easy to cover it on foot just in 2 days. Basically, Aarhus is a perfect weekend gateway from Copenhagen or Amsterdam. Aarhus, a tiny sleeping beauty at the coast of is a perfect weekend getaway from Copenhagen. However, my visit to this less frequented city made me realise that it can be a base to visit many remarkable towns in Denmark including the hometown of H.C Anderson, Odense, and Skagen.
